JoyWork teaches the science and art of human flourishing, providing training and practical tools to harmonize your mind and body so that joy blossoms in your life.
Whether your pain and distress are physical or emotional, the ideal condition for human flourishing is wise, balanced, connected co-existence. Centered wisely in ourselves and connected meaningfully with others, we can flourish and thrive. Without these conditions, and especially when fear, despair and false-thinking drive our behaviors, we are merely surviving.
JoyWork is About Transformation Through
Mind-Body Science and training
JoyWork participants learn how to harness the innate powers of the brain and body to change, grow and thrive. You will be guided through the brain science of mind-body healing, and will learn tools from ancient times such as mindfulness, to the modern cutting edge neurophysiological approaches to physical and emotional pain mitigation.

“Melissa saved my life… literally. I came to her at my very lowest point … she showed me a pathway back to a meaningful life … She’s absolutely one of the best people I know and I feel very fortunate to have had her in my life!”

“Melissa saved my life…literally. I came to her at my very lowest point having “been hit by a speeding train” (emotionally) in multiple areas (simultaneously), landing smack dab in the middle of a full blown PTSD crisis and barely able to get out of bed each day. She was one of eight therapists that I reached out to for help at that lowest point and Melissa was the only one who was able to show me the path back into a meaningful life. It was incredibly hard work, but throughout each step she was kind, caring and skilled at a level that I (still) cannot fully fathom—working with me, believing in me (when I could not) and supporting me at every turn (yes, I took some wrong ones), continually guiding me while illuminating a path in “the darkness” for me to move forward. I will be forever be grateful to her and truly cannot ever say “thank you” enough. She’s absolutely one of the best people I know and I feel very fortunate to have her in my life!”
— Russ, Film Producer
